It was an exceptionally friendly hotel, we loved it. The location was marvellous and decent - so close to fairgrounds, a restaurant called the Town Crier, and lake. Furthermore, in Dallas.

It had particularly good location, just next door to the grocery store and a sandy beach and Abilene. It also was in Dallas. Neat and new-fashioned room, as expected. And the bathroom was clean.

Complaints about a bug.

A Disappointing Experience, Not Worth the Stay

The bathroom had roaches, and the floors were dirty upon arrival. We left immediately, worried about health concerns.

Just a great fit for strolling around in Abilene with good value for cost. The staff really were very good too make sure everything was organized and pleasant. If you're looking for a homey feel, this place nails it.
